Welcome Sara!
After many month of planning and working, we are thrilled to let you know one of our dreams is coming true. We will be able to add a second team that will be able to make additional visits. This team will allow us to focus more on children with special needs and also patients in hospice care. We're very excited to announce our new full-time handler and trainer, Sara! Sara Jordan started as an intern, last year as part of her service training program with school and has been a very vital member of our team.
She grew up in the Oxford area, attending high school at Edgewood and then went on to University of Finley. She is studying Pre-Vet Animal Science with hopes to eventually continue her schooling to become a veterinarian. She was recently married to Jonathan Jordan in August of last year. Her fond love for horses shows every day in the care she gives them. She often goes out of her way to be a team player and uses her knowledge to help care for all the animals at the farm. Please welcome Sarah to our program, we couldn't have asked for a better handler to be a part of our therapy program.
Sara has become an integral part of our team and we couldn't do what we do without her help. Help us in welcoming Sara as a full-time member of Seven Oaks Farm Miniature Therapy Horses!
