Master Handler Certification

We are at full capacity for the moment and are no longer taking participants for the Master Handler Certification.

The Master Handler Certification is the ONLY program in the United States to offer both a registration specific to miniature horses AND a training program for miniature horse handlers in an all encompassing certification course. This online series includes over 20 hours of lectures with links to helpful how-to videos, additional reading materials, and a very guided program. Participants will get a personalized experience with our trainers, and specialized feedback to help you become the best handler you can be. You will receive, a 100 page e-book student guide with the A to Z’s of training for both horse and handler, as well as everything you need to know to set up a miniature therapy horse program. The typical handler in the course spends close to 60 hours in coursework, by the end of their certification, they have a full understanding of training and handling their miniature therapy horse.

This extensive program is presented by Lisa Moad, owner of Seven Oaks Farm and founder of Seven Oaks Farm Miniature Therapy Horses. This series can be watched at your own pace as you are able. There is no time requirement for you or your horse. Once you have finished the lecture, you will be prompted to take a quiz online over what you have learned. Each section also requires students to submit videos demonstrating competency of each area. After finishing all of the series, there will be a final online exam and video exam before certification is given.

INCLUDED with your purchase: registration for one (1) miniature therapy horse. There is no expiration date for the horse registration, you are welcome to do your handler certification and horse registration together, or you can choose to first do your handler certification then come back to do the horse registration once you have a horse.
