Horses Going to Camp Joy

On Wednesday, June 20th we will be attending Camp Joy to share our horses with the campers. This is a yearly event that we attend and love being apart of it all. Officers from the Cincinnati Police Department spends the week with the kids sharing their lives and offering them a chance to see some really cool stuff. The SWAT team will show up, the cruisers are there, and the  police dogs will give a demo. We are there to introduce our program to all the kids and to speak about the horses. For most of the kids this will be their first opportunity to meet a horse and especially tiny ones like we have. The kids are full of curiosity and have many questions about their care and general information. We love being able to talk one on one with the campers and learn a little bit about each one. We also love seeing all the interaction between the kids, our team and the police officers. These type of events are what we envisioned when we started our Valor Program, building bridges between police officers and the community they serve. We are thankful to the Cincinnati Police department for putting on their camp for so many years and for letting us be apart of it too.
