California Seminar!

IMG_1234.jpg

We just returned from our first Intensive Seminar for the year that was held in Hemet, California. We were able to spend a wonderful weekend at So Cal Miniature Horse Sanctuary, Jeanne and her group of volunteers made us feel right at home. Twenty participants spent almost 3 days going thru training and lectures focused on all aspects of miniature therapy horse programs. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make wise decisions about setting up a program or improving the one you have. We had participants from around the country able to  enjoy the sunshine and get a closer look at all the rescues that the sanctuary cares for. We were able to show everyone that rescues have the ability to be great therapy horses too.

Enjoying some time in class discussion.

Here are some of the comments left by students.

“I am on information overload. The presentation was paced perfectly, Lisa and Shelby left adequate time for questions. The presentation was respectful of other methods and programs which added to the integrity of their program.” Debi

“Enjoyed training and learning from Lisa at Seven Oaks Farm . Her extensive experience and willingness to share her knowledge is invaluable to my organization" Jodi

“Learned some training methods we never used before and after your explanation of why,  I would like to try to implementing some of them.“  Mickey
