I highly recommend this seminar to anyone who may be considering doing miniature horse therapy or any kind of community events with horses. Her training methods and expertise have raised the bar for our program.

Seven Oaks Farm Miniature Therapy Horses is  excited to be able to present a very special seminar in sunny Hemet, California in partnership with So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary. The seminar will start the evening of Friday, February 23rd and continue thru Sunday afternoon. This course will combine two seminars, "Miniature Therapy Horses Level 1" and "Miniature Therapy Horses Level 2".

Miniature Therapy Horses Level 1 is designed to help you walk thru the process of setting up your own program and helping you to make it successful. Lisa will focus on all the frequently asked questions like, how do I insure my horse, is my horse suited for therapy work, should I become a 501C3, how do I register and train my horse and what products should I use.

Miniature Therapy Horses Level 2 will be packed full of demonstrations on various training and handling techniques specifically designed for use with therapy horses. Each participant will receive a study guide with all our materials for you to review and use later.

Jeanne Candelario will also speak about her work with rescuing miniature horses and their program at So Cal Miniature Horse Sanctuary. The weekend should be information packed and you will be able to share your experiences with others who have a desire to do therapy work.
